Mistakes you might be making when oiling your scalp

While oiling your scalp has incredible benefits. There are also scalp oiling habits that can cause you more harm than benefit. We are going to discuss the three most common scalp oiling mistakes that we see:

Brushing your hair after putting on scalp oil

After you have applied your scalp oil and given yourself a head massage, your scalp becomes relaxed and fragile. Brushing your hair after this can easily cause hair breakage and hair loss at the root.

Best Practice: Bush your hair before, especially if you are prone to a lot of tangles.

Letting the oil sit beyond overnight

Oil is inherently sticky. If you leave oil on your scalp for a prolonged period, especially if you are out and about, you are encouraging dirt, dust, and pollution to stick to your scalp.

Applying too much oil
