If your scalp were a person, Part 1

If your scalp were a person, it would have six distinct characteristics that make it so unique. Let’s take some time to get to know the mighty scalp and with this knowledge we can understand how to better treat the scalp.

If your scalp were a person…

They would be Protective

The scalp protects the brain and skull from damage. It acts as a natural cushion, absorbing impacts and preventing injury

They would be Sensitive

The scalp is packed with nerve endings and blood vessels that make it highly responsive to touch and temperature

They would be Nurturing

The scalp supports the hair follicles, providing the necessary nutrients and blood supply that allow hair to grow

They would be Nourishing

The scalp produces natural oils that help to moisturize and protect the hair and skin. These oils are essential for maintaining healthy hair and a healthy scalp.

They would be Dynamic

The scalp is constantly renewing itself, shedding dead skin cells and producing new ones. It's a dynamic and ever-changing part of the body that requires ongoing care and attention.

They would be Vulnerable

Despite its many strengths, the scalp is also vulnerable to damage and disease. It can be affected by conditions like psoriasis, eczema, and dandruff, as well as more serious illnesses like alopecia.

As you see, the scalp would have all-encompassing and complex personality with so many unique characteristics. And just like any person, if you get to know and understand her you will be able to take better care of her. And in turn, she will reward you.

In part 2 of "If your scalp was a personality" we'll talk about the things that your scalp would love
